About National Book Trust:

National Book Trust was established in year 1957. The Objectives Of The NBT Are To Produce And Encourage The Production Of Good Literature In English, Hindi And Other Indian Languages And To Make Such Literature Available At Moderate Prices To The Public And To Bring Out Book Catalogues, Arrange Book Fairs/Exhibitions And Seminars And Take All Necessary Steps To Make The People Book Minded.

India’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru envisioned that NBT would be a bureaucracy-free structure that would publish low-cost books. They publish a monthly Newsletter about recent publications.
The activities of the Trust include publishing, promotion of books and reading, promotion of Indian books abroad, assistance to authors and publishers, and promotion of children’s literature. NBT publishes reading material in several Indian languages for all age-groups, including books for children and neo-literates.

Editorial Assistant : Graduate with 03 years of work experience in editing or translating or proof reading.

Assistant : Graduate with 05 years of work experience

Senior Stenographer : 10th passed with shorthand speed of 100 wpm in English and Hindi and transcription of 30 min (English), 55 min (Hindi).

Marketing Executive : Graduate with 05 years of experience in book selling.

Junior Stenographer : 10th passed with shorthand speed of 80 wpm in English and Hindi and transcription of 50 minutes (English), 65 min (Hindi).

Telephone Operator cum Receptionist : Graduate with excellent communication skills in Hindi and English
