Education Jobsal Qualification:

The Candidate should be passed Senior Secondary (Class XII) certificate/ equivalent from a recognized board/ university with 50% marks with minimum 35 words per minute in English type writing


The candidate age should be between 18-27 years as on 30-06-2015. Upper age limit for SC/ST/PWD applicable as per Govt. guidelines

Pay or Salary:

The Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.1900/- per month.


An application fee of Rs. 500/- through Demand Draft in favour of Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti payable at Shillong. No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ Ex-servicemen/ Physically handicapped candidates

Selection Procedure for NVS:

The selection procedure will be made on the performance in trade test/ typing test on computer
