Pay scale ( वेतन ) : Rs. 25,000/- +HRA
Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : Master degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology in any branch of Life Sciences with 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree. Candidate having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent/Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.
Experience requirements ( अनुभव ) : Desirable: Research Experience in Fish Microbilogy/Immunology Publications in relevant field

Age limit ( आयु सीमा ) : 35 years for male and 40 year for female candidates as on the date of interview

All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities. 3. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. 4. The selection will be based on Academic Performance, Research Experience and performance in interview. 5. The decision of Director, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow will be final and binding in all aspects.

About National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR):
The National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR) was established in December 1983 in a rented premises at Allahabad under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research to undertake research related to the conservation of fish germplasm resources of the country. The Bureau’s permanent infrastructure was developed at Canal Ring Road, Telibagh, Lucknow, U.P in 1999 comprising an administrative block, laboratories, farm and residential complex covering an area of 52 acres. The Institute’s vision is assessment and conservation of fish genetic resources for intellectual property protection, sustainable utilization and posterity.
